Can Fotona laser treat active acne?
For selected patients, yes. Fotona describes Nd:YAG protocols designed to reduce inflammation and target sebaceous glands. However, lasers and light treatments do not always control acne on their own.
Can acne scars be completely removed?
No. Treatments can make some scars less noticeable and improve texture, but no procedure can guarantee complete removal of a scar.
How many sessions will I need?
The number varies based on active acne, scar type and depth, the selected protocol, your skin and your response. A more specific plan is established after consultation.
Is there downtime?
It depends on the treatment. Some protocols are gentler, while scar resurfacing can involve more redness, sensitivity or peeling. Expected downtime is discussed before treatment.
Is treatment suitable for every skin tone?

Are red or brown marks after acne actually scars?
